 ACRO/GYMNASTICS
Concentration is on floor skills that develop strength, coordination, balance and flexibility. All About Dance runs a non-competitive, recreational program including tumbling and floor exercises. All classes learn mat skills according to individual capabilities. Jumps, leaps, cartwheels, flips and conditionaing are all reinforced in acro.

ADULT CLASS
Adult classes are a fun way to stay in shape and explore your love of movement. Everyone is welcome in these classes, whether you have a dance background or not.

BALLET
Ballet technique classes require high levels of concentration and discipline in order to execute the movement detail properly. Each class is divided into barre work, port de bras, centre barre, adagio and allegro. Strengthening and stretching exercised are balanced. Ballet builds a strong foundation of coordination, discipline and appreciation of the art of dance. Learning ballet enhances balance and coordination allowing the student to improve other aspects of physical activity.

CHEER/POM
This is a popular choice for young gymnasts that wish to concentrate on their Cheerleading skills. Tumblers in this class focus on leaps and jumps relevant to cheerleading. They also work on tumbling passes. Teamwork is emphasized in this fun, non-competitive class.

CREATIVE DANCE
Be sure to check out our classes for little folks! We have many options for girls and boys alike. We keep our classes small and separate age levels for a more individualized approach. From Ballet to Tumbling, we're sure to have a program that fits your style!

CLOGGING
More fun than art, clogging began as a southern form of the tap movement. All ages are welcome in a class, where we kick up our heels for line dancing and steps to keep your feet tappin'.

DANCERCISE "New this Year"
Come check out this new program for ages 5 - 9. Exercise those muscles and learn some rhythm along with our favorite gal - Morgan. She really knows how to move!

HIP HOP
Hip Hop has evolved from African dancing, street dancing traditions, tap and jazz. All About Dance emphasizes basic technique, moves and style. Students learn syncopated pop movements to up-beat music and learn performance attributes into choreography. Younger students are split into boy/girl classes and find these to be fun, energetic and age appropriate.

JAZZ
Jazz is a dramatic experience that encourages rhythmic movements, gestures and mimicry. Music stimulates the movement, accompanies and motivates it. High energy and freedome of movement describe jazz best. Techniques such as loco motor actions, use of level changes and counter movements. Students are taught to fully feel and illustrate the movements.

LYRICAL/MODERN
Modern Dance began as a rebellion form of ballet. As ballet flows and lifts, modern techniques are more grounded, engaging the whole body in dramatic expression. Lyrical is offered in order to expose dancers to different movement forms and encourage creativity and expression in each student's individual style. We require student's to take ballet as a pre-requisite to Lyrical so that the technique doesn't get lost in the movement.

MARTIAL ARTS "New this Year"
Kook Sol Won is an Asian Art form which stresses discipline, self-confidence and strength conditioning in a non-combative arena. There are 3 classes each week to choose from for all age levels. Students progress at their own pace and may choose to obtain belt status as they grow.

MUSIC FOR LITTLE MOZARTS "New this Year"
Group music lessons are also available for ages 4-6. This 9-week session is designed to encourage a love for music. It is a comprehensive approach to musical learning that develops singing, movement and listening skills together with an introduction to musical styles and concepts.

TAP
The art of Tap involves the whole body, not just the feet! Tap is performed with control, speed and smoothness. Movement of arms, legs and body are incorporated with the tap steps. The techniques, exercises and combinations directly develop a sense of coordination, body control and the rhythmic sense and detailed development of the feet.

THEATRICAL
Most stage performances require some sort of dance. Whether it be solo, group dances or just getting from point A to B on the stage. Basic dance techniques are taught in this engaging class which features music from both classic and contemporary musical performances.
