Welcome New Instructors

Ashley Couch
Ashley has danced for 15 year at Viki Lynn’s School of Dance and is well versed in Tap, Jazz, Acro, Ballet, Hip Hop and Tahitian. She has also had 7 years of training at B & B Gymnastics in Enon. Ashley started cheerleading in kindergarten. She continued cheering thru high school and made Varsity as a sophomore for both basketball & football until she graduated in 2007.

After attending UCA Cheerleading Camp in 2006, she was chosen as one of 35 girls (out of 254) to perform in London, England at their New Year’s Day Parade. Her senior project for school was on choreography and dance instruction. She choreographed for the high school talent show 4 years in a row. She was also a student teacher at Viki Lynn’s for 2 years.

Ashley was one of our directors for our Summer Cheer/Dance Camp and did a remarkable job with her students. She is excited to meet all of the students at All About Dance and can’t wait to get started in the fall.

Alayna Rand
Alayna has been dancing for 15 years. After her first five primary years at a local studio, she furthered her ballet technique at Pontecorvo Ballet Studios. She performed active parts in that studios ballet company, Gem City Ballet. She has performed many George Balanchine pieces including Who Cares, Vales Fantasie and Concerto Barocco and was awarded a scholarship to Ballet Chicago and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. She was also awarded the Gem City Ballet Alford scholarship and the Directors Award in the same year.

She has attended many summer intensives where she received a full scholarship to Virginia School of the Arts in 2004. She was accepted into DCDC2 in 2006 and awarded a full scholarship to Sinclair from the dance department. She performed with the Dayton Contemporary Dance of Sinclair for two years while she obtained her Dance certification to dance, teach and choreograph. She has since been teaching at various studios in and around the Miami Valley. She is well versed in many forms of dance including, ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical, tumbling and ballroom.

Alayna is looking forward to a fantastic year at All About Dance teaching students all she knows about dance and helping them to become the best possible dancer they can be!

Lauren Taylor
Lauren is returning this year! Lauren was the lead instructor for our cheer/pom & hip hop/jazz classes last year and did a remarkable job with our students. She also choreographs for the Tipp City Devileers.
