Frequently Asked Questions

​​​How do I view your class listings?

During our open enrollment (July-November), our class lists are posted throughout our "Classes" pages here. Simply click on the type of dance you're looking for to view the page for that class where the class list is posted. During the other months of the year, you may need to register or login through our portal to view available classes. However, we make every effort for you to be able to see what we are offering at any time. Please reach out to us if you're having trouble finding available classes.


How much do classes cost/ What is your tuition?

Our classes average about $10/class, but this can vary up or down based on how many students are in the class. On the 15th of each month families receive a statement/bill from us via email. Payment for the month billed will be automatically charged to the credit card on file.

How long does dance season last?

Starting in our 2018-19 season, our classes begin earlier in August to allow for a 2-week spring break in April. Our season still consists of 35 weeks for our SPARKS students, and 38 weeks for our FORCE students. Classes run through mid-May for SPARKS students and early June for FORCE students.


Do I have to sign up/pay for the whole season?

When you pick a class, we assume you will be staying through the season, but we understand life sometimes gets in the way. We just ask for a 30 day withdrawal notice to allow us time to fill the space. Payments are monthly. If you choose to pay for the year in advance, you will receive a 3% discount (if paid by Oct. 1).

Do you offer family discounts?

We currently do not offer family discounts, however, a 3% discount is available for those wishing to pay the season in full. This must be done by October 1.
 
What if me/my child don’t like it?

No problem! We want you to be happy with your decision to join our family and will do whatever it takes to make your time with us enjoyable. If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with your choice, we will take the necessary steps to find a more suitable class. If you find that dance just isn't a good fit for you/your child, we will happily withdraw you from the class. We do ask for a 30 day notice when withdrawing so that we have time to fill the spot.


Is there a recital?


YES! Our recitals are held at the end of the season. This is a great opportunity for our students to perform and share all that they have learned throughout the year with their family and friends.


Our FORCE (K-12) performance is typically held on a Saturday afternoon in May or June and lasts 2-3 hours.


Our Sparks program (pre-schoolers) have their own special recital. We want our little ones to have a positive stage experience. Our SPARKS show is held in a local school with the house lights up so that they can see their family in the audience. They parade on stage for photo opps and take their seat in the audience so that they, too, may enjoy the show. These shows typically last 45-50 minutes.


Recital is optional at all about DANCE. We realize the stage isn't for everyone and it shouldn't hinder learning the art of dance. We just ask that you let us know if you/your child would not like to participate in the recital by Oct. 1 so that we have time to remove the recital fee from your account.


How much does it cost?


Our recital fee is $85. It is the same for everyone and covers the sizing, ordering, shipping, and, if needed, alterations of each costume, as well as the facility rental and other various charges related to the recital. Mighty Mites Fees are reduced as they wear their dobaks and do not require a costume.

We also offer recital packages that include a DVD of the show, a tshirt, and other goodies. Check back for more information on these as we get closer the recital.
